The Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English holds an annual convention in October.

The event consists of a half-day workshop on Thursday afternoon and a full day of guest speakers and sectionals on Friday.

Mark your calendars for the 2024 WCTE Annual Convention

• Thursday, October 24th:

  • Sarah J. Donovan, Oklahoma State, author

• Friday, October 25th:

  • Full day convention with keynote speakers Joy McCullough and Sarah J. Donovan.

  • Additional breakout sessions will be available on a number of topics relevant to the teaching of English Language Arts and leadership in the field.

  • Lunch guests will include Wisconsin poets to share their work and ideas for bringing poetry into the classroom!
